Earlier this week, Serena took to Instagram to share a moment of disappointment for her at the New York Fashion Week. In the video which she shared on her official Instagram handle, Serena could be seen dancing alone on the streets of New York. Further, she captioned the video, “When @lilnasx calls you for dress rehearsal but you didn’t make the cut.”

Reacting to this, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, hilariously mocked her, saying, “Unprofessional” in the comments section.
Overcoming this disappointment, Serena opened Vogue’s fashion presentation during the event. She made an appearance alongside Lil Nas X, the 22-year-old award-winning rapper, singer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia.

Former coach talks about Serena’s 2022 US Open run
Serena’s former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, who now coaches Simona Halep, opened up about Serena’s journey at this year’s US Open. He said, “Serena beating Kontaveit, number two in the world, coming from where she was coming in the previous weeks is a big and the fact that she was at home in the US, it was the perfect place for her to say goodbye.”
After her third-round exit at the tournament, Serena bid an emotional farewell to tennis, thanking her family and friends for their support throughout her career.
