During her illustrious career, Serena Williams has experienced many ups and downs. However, the American legend has managed to rise whenever things haven’t gone her way. From making glorious comebacks from injuries to reaching Grand Slam finals after becoming a mother, Serena has had it all.

Earlier this month, the younger Williams sister called an end to her magnificent career that lasted around 25 years. In her last tournament at the US Open, she reached the third round before losing against Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia. Recently, she made an appearance at the New York Fashion Week. However, the 23-time Grand Slam champion faced a disappointing moment at the event.
Alexis Ohanian reacts to Serena Williams’ disappointing moment at the New York Fashion Week
Earlier this week, Serena took to Instagram to share a moment of disappointment for her at the New York Fashion Week. In the video which she shared on her official Instagram handle, Serena could be seen dancing alone on the streets of New York. Further, she captioned the video, “When @lilnasx calls you for dress rehearsal but you didn’t make the cut.”

Reacting to this, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, hilariously mocked her, saying, “Unprofessional” in the comments section.
Overcoming this disappointment, Serena opened Vogue’s fashion presentation during the event. She made an appearance alongside Lil Nas X, the 22-year-old award-winning rapper, singer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia.

Former coach talks about Serena’s 2022 US Open run
Serena’s former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, who now coaches Simona Halep, opened up about Serena’s journey at this year’s US Open. He said, “Serena beating Kontaveit, number two in the world, coming from where she was coming in the previous weeks is a big and the fact that she was at home in the US, it was the perfect place for her to say goodbye.”
