The return of Naomi Osaka to tennis is inching close as each moment passes. The Japanese player has arrived in Australia and is ready to play in the first tournament of the next season. Before she gets down to business, Osaka is roaming around Australia and familiarizing herself with its fauna. As she meets the different animals of Australia, she can’t help but name them as well.

Like Osaka, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal also met the fauna of Australia and even interacted with them for a long time. Unlike her, the two never named the bears they met.

In 2014, Roger Federer was set to play in the Brisbane International to warm up for the Australian Open. When he arrived in Australia, he met the Koala Bears and got several pictures taken, with one hugging him as well. Three years later, Rafael Nadal stepped into the country with the same idea and also shared several pictures of him meeting the Koala Bears.

Alex De Minaur continued the tradition. However, the Australian star met with a Quokka and struggled to get pictures with the little creature. Australia is infamous for dangerous fauna. But on the other end of the spectrum, there are animals who only want love, and the pictures of these tennis stars with them goes to prove it further.
