Speaking about the same, the former world No. 1 player recently brought to light her motivation for creating an appropriate nursery for her daughter.

The 4 singles Grand Slam champion is flexing her creative and artistic side in her latest ‘nursery’ collaboration with Crate & Barrel’s Crate & Kids. In her latest partnership, Naomi Osaka has come up with a co-designed and curated nursery for her newborn baby with her partner, Cordae. Speaking about crafting her first nursery, the Japanese tennis star was recently featured in an interview with Vogue.
During her conversation, the former US Open champion also opened up about the idea of designing a ‘peaceful’ and ‘colorful’ nursery rather than making it ‘overstimulating.’ She said, “And I wanted somewhere the baby could get adjusted to as well when she’s a little bit older. Not just in the infant stage. That was my main focus. I tried to be colorful, but not overstimulating.”
Meanwhile, the former world No. 1 player discussed her ideas for the space, which should be a harmonious combination of bright colors. The tennis star has always envisioned a contemporary look for the room with natural wood accents and curvilinear shelving.
Osaka has made it clear that she is diligently following her new parental duties. In the process, the WTA player had to make an effort to keep her attention on her new responsibilities while avoiding watching tennis.

In the interview, the Japanese tennis player talked about how she is not watching tennis, now that she is on a maternity break. It is all because of her new journey of parenthood as she has to be focused on the role while ardently following all the duties. Even during the Australian Open, Osaka was quite upset as she had to withdraw from the highly anticipated event due to her pregnancy. Prior to this season, she has never missed any tournament in Melbourne Park.
