Coco Gauff is known for chasing perfection, be it on the court or off it! We’re just a few days away from watching her live in action at the Indian Wells. Last year, she could only manage to reach the semis, so her hunt for her first WTA 1000 title of the season is still on. However, before starting her campaign over there, Gauff was spotted nurturing her love for fashion at the 97th annual Academy Awards. Seeing her stunning look at this star-studded event reminded us of her line, where she said, “I really do love fashion. I love makeup. I love that type of thing.” At first, she was spotted arriving at the Dolby Theatre in LA in a custom yellow gown from Miu Miu, then she changed it to green!

We saw several tennis stars, including Madison Keys, Danielle Collins, and a few others admiring Coco Gauff’s stunning look at her Oscars 2025 debut. Along with her gorgeous V-neck yellow gown, she wore diamond earrings, a gold Rolex, and a classic chignon. She completed her elegant look with her curly hair styled in a ‘chic messy bun,’ and after seeing this look, her boyfriend couldn’t stop himself from dropping a heartfelt reaction to her glamorous look. He shared her Oscars photos on her IG stories, calling her “Regal” and then in another story, he showcased his admiration for Gauff by saying, “THE star. Like, come on man.“

Shortly, after teasing her red-carpet look with her social media posts, the tennis star was spotted coming up with a few more posts, and guess what? This time, she was spotted wearing yet another glittering outfit, but this time, it was green in color. She paired it with a floral earring and shared that post with the caption, “outfit change for @vanityfair in custom @miumiu 💚✨.” In that post, she also uploaded a picture with the American singer Ravyn Lenae.

Later on, both Gauff and Lenae shared a few posts in their IG stories. Gauff shared a picture of themselves in a car with the caption, “on our way to @vanityfair @ravynlenae.” Lenae also shared a small video clip on her own IG stories, which captured Coco Gauff’s ecstatic reaction to being able to attend this mega event. Not only with Ravyn Lenae, but we also saw Gauff posing for a selfie with Grammy nominee Coco Jones. 

What did Gauff say about getting the chance to attend this mega-event? “I’m really happy to be here. I want to be more than just a tennis player, and step into other roles,” said the tennis star. In fact, she even joked that she was ready to “have her sneakers on” and would be heading to Palm Springs after this show. Speaking on making her debut appearance at the Oscar event, Coco Gauff further added, “This part of it, everything is new and outside of my wildest dreams, but I’m taking it, I’m thanking God for it, and I’m just happy to be here.”

During her interview with renowned comedian Amelia Dimoldenberg, Gauff even admitted that she wasn’t used to getting so glammed up as a tennis player, but she is now happy to get the opportunity to break away from her routine and get dressed up for the day. Coco Gauff’s mother also made a surprise appearance at the 2025 Academy Awards. Candi Gauff was spotted donning a one-shoulder, glittering metallic dress and giving poses for some photoshoots with Coco Gauff. The mother-daughter duo was even spotted in a single frame with the Emmy winner Storm Reid and her mother, Robyn Simpson Reid. Candi Gauff captioned that post with, “Love being the plus one!!!!” After seeing this post, her daughter quickly chimed in and dropped four heart-eyed emojis under that post. Later on, Candi Gauff even shared pictures with Hollywood legends Whoopi Goldberg and Samuel Jackson.

Seeing Gauff accompany her mother in this event is not that surprising. Previously, we’ve seen Candi Gauff accompanying her daughter in multiple events; in fact, she even at times travels with her during the Tour. Talking about the support of her parents, Gauff once said, “I think for me, my parents have continued to be my advocates. You know, when you’re working with a team that you just met, well, now they know me well, but I guess in the beginning, yeah, my parents would have to explain to them what works with me, what doesn’t. They’re just really my support system.“
