Serena Williams’ former coach Rick Macci has always believed in her potential. However, being a person of experience, he has made a statement that is indeed hurtful but might be true. Williams?is riding high on expectations of not only fans but several tennis entities as well. Such as her Eastbourne International’s doubles partner and current World No.2 Ons Jabeur. However, apart from trying to live up to the expectations, she will be eyeing a very prestigious milestone.

Williams is just two match wins away from the record of 100 victories on the grass courts of the Wimbledon Championship. She will be the second WTA player to do so after Martina Navratilova in 1991.

Though the American already has the record of 100 victories in a Grand Slam. In the year 2019, she defeated Qiang Wang in the semifinals of the US Open to reach the milestone. Further, other than her, only two active players have achieved the record. The Swiss legend Roger Federer and 22 times Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal.
