Being an American, Sloane Stephens grew up in a totally different land. She didn’t grow up in the hot-shot areas of New York and has spent a totally different life with her family. Recently, the 30-year-old American tennis star shared a little inside information about her family business, revealing how things were not always the same for her. But at the same time, she also made a huge revelation about her backup career other than tennis.
While Stephens has created her own name in the tennis arena, the 2017 Australian Open champion also had the option to go into a family business. But rather than sticking around, the American tennis player made her way out into the tennis world, shining like a bright star.

Sloane Stephens made a huge revelation about her family business
During a recent question-and-answer session on Instagram, the 30-year-old American tennis star revealed some details about her life before she began playing tennis. A fan asked her if she would not have played tennis and what her profession would be as of now.
The Grand Slam champion quickly responded to the remark by mentioning a family business connection to the other career she might have chosen.

She wrote, ” I would like to be an embalmer.” Along with that, she also shared a screenshot of what an embalmer is, as per Google reports. While that understanding was not enough, she further dived into the exact definition of this word and also how somewhere being an embalmer is a part of her family business.
In the next story, she shared another screenshot of the Google page, but this time she also talked about her family business in detail. She wrote, “Ok, let me go more into this… My family owns funeral houses so this was always something I was interested in – I spend a lot of time in funeral homes. Embalming and cremation are both delicate but both very interesting processes.”

Nevertheless, this is not the first time she has talked about her family. While this was true professionally, in terms of gaining support from her family, she has been extremely candid about her relationship with her parents and her sibling. Last year, the American tennis star detailed her mother’s and sister’s immense support while taking a huge health step for herself.
When Stephens talked about her family’s immense support
Last year, the former US Open champion revealed to her fans that she had frozen her eggs for starting a family in the future. After the health update, during a Q&A session on Instagram, she talked about the procedure and the support she received from her husband and her family. She wrote, “My mom and sister were with me also during the process. I’m lucky that I had a lot of support!”

While there was a lot of criticism going around regarding her decision to get her eggs frozen, her family stood by her side and supported her through thick and thin.
