The American sensation and reigning US Open champion has been an expert at keeping her relationship under wraps, dodging questions easily. However, on this occasion, she finally disclosed the big secret.

Recently, Gauff appeared on the cover of Vogue, where she also spoke about her rumored boyfriend. She revealed, “He’s a very nice guy. He’s in school now. He’s about to apply for music school. He wants to be an actor and he plays the guitar.”

Further, she went on to add, “He’s not from Delray. He’s actually from Atlanta. And actually, um, I will say this: People on Twitter found him two or three days ago. I won’t respond and confirm if it’s him or not, but they caught me in the comments, so they know. Some people thought it was someone in tennis and that couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Gauff’s boyfriend has proven to be a lucky charm for her. He had a big role to play in her success last year where Gauff enjoyed one of the best seasons of her tennis career.

Gauff’s encouraging talk with her boyfriend before the US Open final

In 2023, Gauff claimed her maiden Grand Slam title, defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the summit clash. However, on the eve of the final, Gauff was nervous before the biggest match of her career. Nonetheless, a chat with her boyfriend helped her ease her nerves.

Gauff said of the incident, “I just called my boyfriend, and I told him let’s talk until it’s time to go to sleep so we spoke until 1:00 a.m. and then I went to sleep. I woke up this morning. Yeah, when I lost the first set I still felt I was into the match and I said, you know, I’m going to give it my all.”

Indeed, the two have formed one of the most adorable pairs in the sporting world. Gauff is having the time of her life, both on the personal front as well as the professional front.
