One among them is Valerie Vogt, who is good friends with the younger Williams sister.

Vogt was also Williams’ wedding planner when the latter tied the knot with Alexis Ohanian. The duo has had fond memories from the past, as they vacationed together often. One such memory was reminisced by Williams and Vogt.

Years can pass by but some of the iconic memories still remain in one’s heart. Ask Vogt and Williams, who had one such memory 12 years ago. Following her 4th round exit at the Australian Open in 2012, the former World Number 1 went on a trip with one of her best friends, Vogt.

Recently, Vogt shared memories from this trip. She took to her official Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of her and Williams enjoying the outing. Additionally, in the same Instagram story, she wrote, “Missing the bestie. So many Paris memories. Love u @serenawilliams.”

Williams wasn’t left behind as she shared the story on her official Instagram handle. The 23-time Grand Slam champion responded with the message, “Gosh that was a fun tripppp.”

6 years after Williams’ wedding, Vogt got engaged. The renowned event planner was a mastermind behind planning Williams’ wedding. And years later, she had her moment to celebrate. It was made more special as Williams posted a heartfelt message for her on social media.

The American legend said, “Happy tears. So glad you found love, true love that you deserve. Patience and high road paid off. Still can’t believe it. So happy for you both.”

Their bond has grown by leaps and bounds over the years. Williams has a special place in her heart for Vogt and the inseparable bond is only getting stronger with each passing day.
