However, her candid thoughts about the Pickleball situation and its rising popularity became the highlight of the conversation.

The Pickleball Slam-2, with its interesting line up of the players, is already attracting a lot of attention from tennis enthusiasts. Venus Williams embraces the pickleball craze

It is not surprising that pickleball is making waves with its upcoming Slam 2. The event is drawing attention not only for its intriguing lineup of retired tennis stars. Williams recently shared her thoughts on the growing pickleball craze during a recent conversation with the Wall Street Journal. The Pickleball Slam 2 features legends such as Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, John McEnroe and Maria Sharapova. So, the question naturally arose: “What do you think of the pickleball craze?”

Williams responded with a resounding endorsement. She said: “I love it. I love people moving their bodies. I’m passionate about wellness. You’ve got to move, and if people can find a new, fun, easy way to move and they want to do it all the time, thumbs-up.”

Williams’ passion for physical activities goes beyond the boundaries of traditional sports. She happily embraces the joy of movement in any form. The simplicity and fun factor of pickleball align with her belief that staying active shouldn’t be a chore, but an enjoyable experience.

It has become quite evident that her support extends beyond the game itself. It’s a celebration of people discovering a playful avenue for fitness. Even though it’s not an alternative for tennis, Pickleball can definitely act like one.
