In one of her Instagram stories, Genie claimed that she was ahead of her time as she discovered this pink Barbie trend a year before this went viral globally.

In the story, she also wrote, “Happy Barbie Day. I would like to humbly remind you all that I was ahead of my time with the Barbie trend. This was my Barbie-themed birthday party last year.”

And in the same story, she also shared an old post from her Instagram account in which she can be seen holding a Barbie doll dressed up all pink just like people are doing all over the internet today.
