Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams welcomed their daughter, Adira River, on August 22. After the family of three became a family of four, wishes poured in from all over the world. Ohanian, a major investor in many companies worldwide, was also congratulated by the organizations for which he raised funds. One of those founders sent a heartfelt note to Ohanian on the joyous occasion and the cofounder of Reddit reacted in an endearing way.

Ohanian invested in the firm as it focuses on automation. While he does believe it’s a good idea, he also believes that human intervention is required. Regardless, he invested in the company and his investment brought many smiles, and they returned the gesture.  

Serena Williams’ husband shares heartfelt note 

Fans and followers of the Ohanian-Williams family shared their wishes when they announced the birth of Adira River. Considering that both Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams are investors, they also received wishes from the many start-ups they support. Ohanian recently read a heartfelt note from July, a platform that automates brand deals. He shared the note on his Instagram story.

The note read, “Dear Alexis, Serena, & big sister Olympia. Congratulations on your Jelly Bean!!! Sending you all lots of love from NYC! All our best, Wells & the July team“. He thanked July in the captions for their well wishes for his family. July raised $2.3 million in December 2022 from pre-seed investing and opened up its beta. 

The entrepreneur was a part of their funding and is still a strong member of their circle. His presence has helped them make many meaningful steps in the field, and they found a way to show their gratitude. Although Ohanian is a big believer in the power of automation and AI, he believes that humans cannot be undermined in any process.

Alexis Ohanian on the need of humans

AI development has been a big move in many industries since last year. Many firms and brands are implementing several automation processes which reduce the need for human intervention. But Ohanian does not believe that it should be the reality. He used AI software to write a mock email to himself. But the tool failed as it left out important details.

Ohanian then wrote that since he is developing AI and automation software, humans shouldn’t be left out of the loop to ensure silly mistakes don’t occur. The Reddit co-founder dabbles in many kinds of markets and aims to improve his portfolio further. But he has a set of values which he refuses to let go, which play a major role in taking him to new heights.
