Coco Gauff‘s heart is always ready to encourage everyone around her. Along with using her tennis racket to inspire others, she just discovered a means to save lives and assist those around her in emergencies and critical situations. She did, however, reveal a little-known truth about having only learned CPR a few days prior, leaving everyone perplexed as to her abilities outside of tennis.
Although she necessarily supports the practice, she is prepared to apply it if necessary. Nearly ten days ago, she disclosed her medically conscious side for the first time, and now, at the Cincinnati Open, she revealed the true purpose for mastering the practice.

While the 19-year-old was playing her first-round match against Mayar Sherif, at the Western and Southern Open, a serious scene unfolded as a fan fell ill in the middle of the match. Subsequently, the situation was immediately taken into consideration, and the fan was given proper treatment. After the match, during the on-court interview, when the interviewer brought the topic in front of her, Gauff revealed the actual reason why she learned CPR.
She said, “The class took 90 minutes after I lost at Wimbledon. I came home and needed something to give me some fulfillment bc that tournament did nothing for me”
“We had a fan today who fell ill. All I could think was where’s Coco? She learned CPR”

Nevertheless, this year’s Wimbledon was quite upsetting for the 7th-ranked tennis player as she faced first-round defeat, which was something that came out of nowhere. Well, to get over that loss, she wanted to distract herself, and what better way than to learn something new that can help other people around her?

So rather than going for a run or sleeping, she took a 90-minute class to excel in CPR practice. But not only did she learn it, but she was also ready to put on her medical credentials to practice 10 days ago after an unfortunate circumstance occurred during her quarterfinal clash in Washington.
When Gauff was ready to try her CPR practice
Just a few days ago, during the quarterfinal round of the Citi Open, when the 19-year-old locked horns against Belinda Bencic, the play was stopped for a few minutes when a spectator was in distress. After completing the match, when the American sensation inquired about the fan during the on-court interview, she revealed that she was ready to jump up and help the fan.

Further, she highlighted how she has her certificate with her and also encouraged everyone in the Crown to take up the CPR class in general.
