Every time Taylor Swift sets her footing on the stage, she lights it up. This year was no different. The American star rocked the stage with her Eras Tour, which ended with its 149th and final show in Vancouver. The 21-month Tour had it all – from Swift winning fans’ hearts with her music to the tour breaking several records. Among them was a $2 Billion record, which invited praise from tennis legend, Billie Jean King.
Through her 149 shows, Swift’s Eras Tour made $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales. This figure was double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history, surpassing Coldplay’s previous record of $1 Billion during their 156-date Music of the Spheres World Tour. As a result, Billie Jean King couldn’t stop but express her awe for Swift.
Taking to her official X handle, she wrote, “Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour broke the all-time touring record, with $2B in revenue, double the previous record held by Coldplay. This milestone is worthy of praise, of course, but @taylorswift13’s impact on music and culture goes well beyond this. I became a fan after watching her 2020 documentary, Miss Americana, and was so impressed with her generosity and kindness toward her fans and the people on her team. I just love the inclusivity of the friendship bracelet trading trend that happens at her concerts. Congratulations, Taylor! Looking forward to watching what you accomplish next.”

Kelce and Swift haven’t shied away from displaying their affection for each other in public. A glaring example was during their appearance at the US Open together. On this occasion, Kelce expressed his awe for Swift’s Eras Tour and made a heartfelt revelation about it.
He said, “Shout out to Tay, and the unbelievable Eras tour has finally come to an end. Shout out to everybody that was a part of that show. Obviously, it’s her music, her tour, and everything, but that was a full production, man. That thing was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”
Additionally, Swift also thanked her supporters as her Eras Tour came to a glittering end. “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour. We have toured the entire world… we have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” Swift said.
