Serena Williams’ love for pets has never been kept hidden from the public eye. The Queen of the Court has always been a proud owner of a number of dogs as suggested by her social media posts. On her online platforms, the 41-year-old tennis legend has never shied away from expressing her love for them. However, when it comes to farm animals, Williams has entirely distinct feelings toward them. This came to her husband Alexis Ohanian’s attention recently when the American tennis legend was intimated by a mere farm chicken.

Alexis Ohanian, who was recently featured in an interview with the American TV personality, Gayle King, recently shared a snap of an incident involving his wife. The renowned couple was there outside at a farm where they met a poultry animal.

Both Gayle and Ohanian were quite calm around the chicken as suggested in a picture shared by the American internet entrepreneur. Serena Williams, on the other hand, looked completely scared by it as she tried to get away. The former tennis ace, who is a proud dog owner, was surprisingly alarmed by a farm animal.

Taking note of that, the Reddit co-founder said, “When your wife really prefers dogs to farm animals,” as he shared a picture of the hilarious incident. Fans were quick to react in the comments section and they did so in a clever and witty manner.

The Queen of the Court has always been a proud dog owner

Williams’ love for dogs dates all the way back to the 90s when she got her first puppy who she named, Jackie Pete. It was a Jack Russell Terrier who was named after the 14 singles Grand Slam champion, Pete Sampras.

Being a tennis player herself, Serena loved naming her dogs after other legends in the community. Notably, her next dog, Yorkshire Terrier’s name got linked to his friend and the Spanish tennis legend, Rafael Nadal. Christopher ‘Chip’ became Williams’ furry companion in 2004 and was a celeb figure on social media.
