Swiatek reflected on her 2024 season with a heartwarming IG post, offering a glimpse into her journey full of successes and challenges. Swiatek faced many setbacks including a quarterfinal exit at the 2024 Flushing Meadows and a withdrawal from the Asian Swing due to personal reasons. However, Swiatek focused on gratitude and growth, sharing snippets from her tour this season alongside a touching message.
“Thanks for this season. First and foremost, I’m thanking myself and my team because it was another extraordinary year,” Swiatek began. “It was a season of not being a superhero and accepting it—facing new challenges, grinding, hard work, appreciating milestones, and unlocking new achievements.” Her post showcased a sense of pride in her sheer resilience, celebrating her ability to uplift and grow through ups and downs.

Swiatek parted ways with her former coach Tomasz Wiktorowski and started working with Naomi Osaka’s ex-coach Wim Fissette in October. Since then, her confidence has been evident. Speaking to Eurosport, the Polish player shared her excitement for the upcoming season: “I’m going to start the new season with some new goals, and I’m already looking forward to it. Because we haven’t had time with Wim to practice a lot. So it’s going to be nice to try that.” Reflecting on her journey, she said: “Last year, I struggled with it, so this year I think I progressed a lot, but it’s hard not to reflect on everything. The season looked differently for me after Roland Garros. The first part was pretty perfect. The other one, you know, ups and downs.”
