Just a day ahead of her clash, Sabalenka was seen training in a colorful and body-hugging outfit reportedly designed by Nike, as she exercised in the players’ gym in Melbourne. 

Taking to X, the official account of the Australian Open shared Sabalenka’s video and captioned it, “This is a vibe, @SabalenkaA.” However, it seems that the star player’s vibe failed to match the vibe of the tennis enthusiasts. As soon as the post gained traction, it led to a large influx of fans to the comments section. 

Sharing their perspective, several fans expressed their surprise and disappointment over Sabalenka’s outfit. They claimed that the outfit is not just inappropriate for someone of Sabalenka’s stature, but also confusing for people watching it. So what exactly they said?

Taking to X, one user questioned, “WHAT IS THIS OUTFIT? 😂😂” Interestingly, this is not the first time when Aryna Sabalenka’s attire has shocked her fans at the Australian Open this year. As soon as the images of her Australian Open outfit started making rounds ahead of the tournament, the star player witnessed immense criticism. Remember, the pictures that surfaced consisted of a comprising of a pastel yellow outfit overlaid with a bright yellow tank top which is exactly what Sabalenka has been wearing in her matches. And now, with her practice attire making rounds, more such reactions continued to follow.

 Responding to the post, another user wrote, “That suit is wicked. She should play on it.” Sounds a little contradictory but that’s exactly what many fans feel. Interestingly, Sabalenka’s tryst with fashion is not new. She has often mesmerized her fans by her appearance. Be it through her pink Nike top and a skirt that she wore during the American Swing last year, or her stunning three-piece blazer that she wore in 2023, Sabalenka has definitely received appreciation for her style and attire. However, fans find it difficult to admire her latest attire and several people joined the fray with similar remarks.
