Serena Williams is not just a tennis icon, she’s a fashion icon, too. Whether it’s on the court or the red carpet, she’s always turning heads. Recently, she posted a series of pictures rocking a casual yet chic outfit—a simple white T-shirt, denim, and black jeans. But there was something extra special about that tee. “Bet you did not know @olympiaohanian designed my shirt,” she wrote in the caption. It wasn’t just any design—it had handwritten messages from Olympia, including “Greatest Mama of all time” and “Mama, you are my best friend.” Serena just keeps blending fashion and motherhood to create extraordinary things!
The 23-time GS champion has teamed up with children’s wear brand Janie and Jack for a limited-edition spring 2025 collection. For the first time ever, she’s appearing in a campaign with both of her daughters, Olympia, 7, and Adira Ohanian, 18 months. The collection is all about fun, vibrant styles for kids up to 12 years old. Expect resort-ready outfits, swimwear, and accessories bursting with bold colors and ombre designs. There are also two mommy-and-me styles for those twinning moments and a special re-creation of Serena’s childhood tennis look. The collection is available now at janieandjack.com and in Janie and Jack stores across the US.
And the 43-year-old tennis legend is celebrating the collaboration in style. She recently shared an Instagram story of her and her daughters visiting a Janie and Jack store to check out the collection, captioning it, “Such a special moment seeing our @janieandjack collection in store for the first time.” The American icon then summed up the experience with another story, writing, “We had the best time visiting @janieandjack and seeing the collection in person. Now it’s your turn to shop! #janieandjackpartner #janieandjackxserenawilliams.”

Serena Williams has always been a fan of Janie and Jack, making this collaboration a natural fit. “As a longtime fan of Janie and Jack, I’m thrilled to bring this collection to life alongside my girls,” she said. “Every piece is designed to celebrate family, style, and the special moments we share together. I poured so much love into this collection and can’t wait for families everywhere to experience it.”
So what’s her favorite design from the collection? It’s the one where the 23-time Grand Slam champion drew inspiration from an outfit she wore as a child—a skirt and top combo she used to play tennis in. “We were really inspired by that iconic piece and bringing a different version of it to life. We used it as an inspiration as we looked at designs,” she explained to WWD.

Her influence extends beyond fashion and business. The American tennis icon was named one of Glamour magazine’s 2024 Global Women of the Year, recognized for her dedication to supporting businesses founded by women and people of color through her venture capital firm, Serena Ventures.
This new collection is just another addition to her growing empire. According to Serena, it all started with a simple moment of authenticity. “Quite frankly, I’m always there. My agent called me and asked, ‘What do you think about Janie and Jack?’ I always post pictures of my kids, and they’re always in Janie and Jack. Maybe I posted a picture and they saw it, and we’ve been trying to do something together. When I had Adira, this was a perfect time to do something,” she told WWD.
She added, “I love them [Janie and Jack]. They’re at my local mall. I like to go there and shop. It was very authentic and very normal. Our initial call was, ‘Are we really going to do this? This is crazy.’ It was so authentically us on both sides. And my girls love the products.”
