Earlier this month, the Russian tennis star announced the birth of her son, Theodore. It was a special moment for Sharapova and her partner, Alexander Gilkes. Recently, she revealed her post-pregnancy workout regime.

Maria Sharapova engages in a light workout session

The 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her post-pregnancy workout session. Sharing a video, she said, “Today marks four weeks since giving birth and two weeks since I started moving my body again. I don’t think my body had ever felt as weak as it did the day after birth so even these movements feel like I’ve come a long way. Trying not to push it but I’ll let you know how that goes.”

Earlier, Sharapova took to social media to announce the birth of her first child, Theodore. She posted a picture with Gilkes and Theodore, saying that it was the most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift that their little family could have asked for.

Former coach talks about Sharapova’s rivalry with Serena Williams

During her career, the Russian star had an intriguing rivalry with Serena. Although the latter dominated their matches, winning 20 of the 22 matches played between them, their matches were most sought after by tennis fans across the globe. Sharapova’s former coach, Michael Joyce, admitted that Sharapova had the most respect for Serena over any other player.
