A few weeks back American tennis star, Jennifer Brady announced that she’ll be undergoing a knee surgery that will keep her out of action for an extended period. Recently, she posted an update on her Instagram account thanking the doctor and his team for a successful surgery. However, she wished she could look as cute as Ajla Tomljanović after her operation. Several of her peers, including Sloane Stephens, stepped in to shower words of encouragement to help her fight these tough times in her life.

Injury-plagued, Jennifer Brady has missed almost 2 years from 2021 to 2023 after suffering from a knee injury at the Cincinnati Open in 2021. But she made a return to the tour in August last year. With this latest setback, her fans, families, and friends now wish her a quick recovery.

Even the Australian tennis player, Tomljanovic has been sidelined for most of the 2023 season after she underwent knee surgery. She was looking to make a comeback this year. But as per reports, she is set to miss “a few weeks” of action yet again after having surgery to remove uterine fibroids. Brady’s last successful run at a major came in 2021 AO when she reached the finals of the tournament.

Since then, she has failed to find her consistency on the court. Here’s what she said recently after her surgery. “Everything went extremely well today in surgery. A massive thanks to Brian Cole and his entire team during this entire process. Wish I could look as cute as Ajla Tomljanović post-op,” Brady. Reacting to Brady’s post, Sloane Stephens commented, “This is a sexy look! Love you lots!!

However, this isn’t the first time she has been showered love by her compatriots. Coco Gauff had also expressed her best wishes to Jennifer Brady when she first announced her surgery last month.

Coco Gauff hopes to see Brady soon in action

A month earlier Brady posted, “I never expected this life to be easy – playing professional sports at the highest level is difficult on the mind and the body, but I enjoy every moment of it and wouldn’t change a single thing. I wanted to let everyone know, unfortunately, during off-season I had another setback and I’ll be having surgery on my knee. With this surgery, I will be out for quite some time as the recovery and rehab process is extensive.”

She thanked everyone who supported her on and off the court and expressed her optimism for the near future. Coco Gauff commented on this post and wrote, “Sending you love, hope to see you back soon.” Sloane Stephens also commented on that post saying, “Forever a bruin!!! You’ll be back whipping that fear hand in no time at all. Proud of you for always fighting Jen!
