Williams once shared the details of her training session with a boxer

A documentary was made available to tennis enthusiasts worldwide in 2012. It documented the journey of the Williams sisters in professional tennis. Among other tidbits, viewers of the documentary obtained insights from the sisters’ coaches. In the documentary, Williams discussed her father’s unique training techniques and cited his belief that boxers had the best footwork. Unsurprisingly, that belief led to the incorporation of boxing-inspired footwork drills in her training.
