Tecau has previously taken the side of Halep by openly denying the possibility of her taking any drug consciously. This time was no different, as Halep spoke of her friend’s unceasing encouragement of her desire to compete in the Olympics.

“Horia Tecău also wrote me a message. I told him that we would meet in Miami and talk. It’s much better face to face.”, Halep further added. Simona Halep has lost all her credits on-court after the ban. Now, as she gradually progresses to take back her position, fans are also eagerly waiting to watch her upcoming performance on-court.

The 32-year-old Romanian tennis player, after being accused of taking Roxadust, suffered heavy backlash from the tennis industry and a four-year ban. However, the reduction of the ban to nine months after her appeal helped her heave a sigh of relief. Now Simona Halep is all set to make a comeback at the Miami Open in March.
