During a post-match interview after defeating Maria Sakkari at the Miami Open, Coco Gauff found herself hilariously interrupted by none other than one of her brothers, as she added, “My brother, he ran away but he was distracting me. Sorry. I can’t curse him from up here so…”

In true sibling fashion, he playfully tried to throw her off, showcasing the classic brother-sister dynamic found in every household for ages. For Coco, family life is never dull, with Corey and Cameron always keeping things lively. Like their superstar sister, both brothers share a passion for sports and are her go-to companions. And now, the trio gave fans a glimpse of their fun-loving bond, engaging in a lighthearted debate over dress-up: a sibling moment at its finest!

The former US champion Coco Gauff, the eldest of three, has always loved tennis, while her brothers, Codey and Cameron, have carved their own paths. Codey swings his baseball bat, and Cameron dabbles in multiple sports, including tennis and football. Despite their different interests, the sibling bond is rock solid, filled with laughter and playful moments.

Take last Christmas, for example, when Coco hilariously captured a classic middle-child moment on her IG story. There was 16-year-old Codey stuck on a carousel horse next to their younger brother, Cameron. Feeling for him, she couldn’t help but caption the moment with a cheeky remark, “When you’re the middle child and other siblings force you to participate.”

Fast forward to now, and Coco’s at it again, sharing yet another family gem; however, this time, an amusing debate between her brothers.

Coco Gauff’s Instagram stories are once again serving up peak sibling comedy! Just a couple of hours ago, she shared a clip of her brothers, Codey and Cameron, hilariously caught in an unintentional fashion moment. The duo, dressed alike in black, sparked a playful debate. Codey, the middle child, insisted that not all black dresses are the same, comparing Cameron’s outfit to the difference between a Toyota and a Ferrari.

Meanwhile, Cameron cheekily refused to be called a Toyota! Coco couldn’t resist chiming in, captioning the moment with, “They accidentally matched again 😭”

Is Coco Gauff's family bond her secret weapon for bouncing back on the tennis court?

Have an interesting take?

But this is just another day in the Gauff household, where sibling antics are as common as Grand Slams, though! Last year, Coco playfully called out Codey for swiping her hoodie, even posting a picture of him wearing it, quoting, “He stole my hoodie but go like his photo or whatever. My hoodie was missing for months and he just pops options on da gram with it.”

Still, she showed love, encouraging fans to check out his post with a sweet shout-out.

However, beyond these fun family moments, Coco has also faced some tough challenges on the court. After an early exit from the Miami Open, which she considers her home tournament, she opened up about this crucial stage in her career.

“I felt awful,” Coco Gauff shared her honest opinion after being beaten by Magda Linette

The 9-time WTA singles winner’s Miami Open run came to a shocking halt in the R16, leaving fans and analysts puzzled. The 3rd seed and home favorite, who had looked dominant in earlier rounds, fell unexpectedly to 34th-ranked Magda Linette in straight sets, 4-6, 4-6. It wasn’t just the loss that raised eyebrows, but it was the way it unfolded.

Gauff struggled to find her rhythm, racking 12 double faults and an alarming 45 unforced errors. For a player known for her resilience and athleticism, this performance was far from her best, making the defeat even harder to digest.

Just days earlier, Coco had looked unstoppable, delivering a ruthless ‘double-bagel’ win against Sofia Kenin and brushing past Maria Sakkari 6-2, 6-4. Her aggressive baseline game and sharp shot-making had fans believing she was back to her best. However, as the stakes rose, inconsistency crept in, proving once again that maintaining peak form under pressure remains a challenge.

“It wasn’t great today. It hasn’t been the last few weeks. I’m trying to figure that out. Definitely not happy about it. Just one of those days when I felt awful in everything on the court,” Coco added later.

Despite her early exit from her home tournament, the upcoming clay season presents Coco Gauff with the ideal opportunity for a strong resurgence. The recently turned 21-year-old has openly acknowledged that clay suits her game best, making it the perfect stage for redemption.
