Caroline lost the fourth round of the US Open to Coco Gauff yesterday. After her comeback, she has been playing amazingly well, be it in the National Bank Open or in Flushing Meadows. And now, after her loss, she has made up her mind to step away from the sport for the rest of the year.

A Twitter post from renowned journalist, Jose Morgado, confirmed that she won’t be playing for the rest of the year 2023.

Her next big goal is going to be the Australian Open in 2024. Even though her journey at the US Open was a huge success for her, with her reaching the second week and making it to the fourth round, we are sure a break is something that she would like for now.
