Following their early-round exits in Indian Wells, Emma Raducanu and Amanda Anisimova have arrived in Miami, hoping to turn around the situation. The two seem to be spending some quality time off the court, enjoying Miami life. In addition, the duo took to their Instagram giving a glimpse of it.

Emma Raducanu entered the Indian Wells as the 11th seed. Obtaining a first-round bye, she went on to start her campaign from the second round, beating Caroline Garcia. However, her run was short-lived as she faced a third-round exit to Petra Martic. On the other hand, Anisimova started her tournament with a first-round win over Emma Navarro. However, the win was followed by a mid-match retirement in the second round after suffering from illness.

Raducanu and Anisimova spend some time together in Miami

Looking to make a strong comeback, both the players are in Miami.  However, both the players took some time off to enjoy themselves in Miami. Both the players took to their Instagram handles uploading stories in Miami. In the story by Anisimova, Raducanu was seen standing on a Marina. Raducanu sported a White and Black striped sweatshirt, along with white shorts, as she stood seeing the yachts and the mesmerizing Atlantic Ocean. Anisimova captioned the story “Emma Raducanu amazed by Miami.”

In Raducanu’s Instagram story, the two were seen enjoying some time at an eatery. Anisimova opted for a white off-shoulder dress for the outing. Raducanu captioned the photo “Amanda Anisimova in Miami.”

That wasn’t all. The two further went on to reshare each other’s stories. Resharing Raducanu’s story, Amanda wrote, “Shocked by the lighting situation”. On the other hand, resharing Amanda’s story, Emma wrote, “A quiet Miami corner.”

World No. 41, Amanda Anisimova first played in Miami in 2017 and suffered a first-round defeat. Coming back in 2018, she won the first round. However, she had to retire before her second-round tie owing to a foot injury. Further, in 2019, 31st seeded Anett Kontaveit outplayed her in the second round. At the 2021 event, she reached the third round.

Anisimova will begin her campaign against Shelby Rogers in her Round-of-128 contest in Miami.

On the other hand, the 2022 Miami Masters will be Emma‘s maiden Miami Open appearance. Similar to Indian Wells Masters, Raducanu has entered the tournament as the 11th seed and will start her campaign from the second round.
