The Reddit co-founder was recently featured in an interview with Forbes, in which he shed light on the chilly winter storm in the crypto market. A lot of investors have suffered a considerable amount of loss due to the fall of companies like FTX. However, the husband of Serena Williams is consistently doubling down on his investments despite such worrying trends.
While detailing the reason behind his FTX interests, Alexis Ohanian said that it’s his Armenian family’s tragic history that has inspired him to take risks in the extremely volatile market. The American internet entrepreneur’s ancestors have been victims of the horrifying Armenian genocide. Further, their assets were also seized by Turkish soldiers during the adverse phase of the country.
This is the major reason behind Ohanian’s investments in the digital market despite the collapse. Speaking about it, he slammed other FTX investors, complaining about its erraticism. He said, “have you seen the sh*t we’ve lived through?”

The framing looks insane, until your family also has its property seized. Unfortunately there are countries that still do this today. I have no idea if his idea will work or if it's not a scam but it's not really for the 1st world countries at the first place.
