Having lost her younger sister to a deadly disease in 2020, the American tennis legend Chris Evert knows the pain of losing a close family member. The former tennis ace was shattered after the demise of her sister, Jeanne Evert Dubin, due to ovarian cancer. Experiencing such feelings of bereavement has made the American tennis legend realize the importance of offering comfort and support during such an adverse phase in others’ lives.
The 18-time singles Grand Slam champion recently sent her condolences to the American actress Maeve Quinlan who suffered a similar loss to that of the ‘Ice Maiden’. ‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ star took to her social media to share the news of the demise of her mother. Taking note of the same, the former tennis ace was devastated as she empathized with the actress.

Chris Evert sent her condolences to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ actress
The American actress recently honored her mother, Mary Kevin Quinlan, while sharing the news of her demise at the age of 99. Maeve Quinlan hailed her mother on Twitter for being the “true champion” and “idol” throughout her journey. While sharing some heartfelt pictures with her beloved mother, the 58-year-old actress was deeply saddened as she remembered her elegance, wit, guidance, and sass.
Chris Evert also took to Twitter to express her sorrow. The 18-time singles Grand Slam champion was saddened as she honored her witty and loving mother in a heartfelt post on Twitter.
Evert tweeted, “Mary was the BEST! Loving, witty, sassy, direct…and Maeve, you were the best daughter, caregiver, friend …. What a full and adventurous life you had with her. She was your biggest fan and kept you grounded like no one else! She will be greatly missed…🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️”

When Evert was saddened by another tragedy
The former tennis ace has often used her online platform to offer her sympathy and condolences upon witnessing such tragic news. Evert was deeply shattered upon finding out about the Turkey-Syria earthquake death toll revelation on social media.
While expressing her concerns about the tragedy, the former American tennis player urged others to address such horrific happenings around the globe. In the process, she also slammed those who were unbothered by the same as they were Grammy gossiping about celebs on social media.
