On the podcast, Pinkston acknowledged that the show at times pushed the boundaries of health and safety, driven by the need to generate catchy pranks. As seen in the Serena Williams episode, the mischievous scheme included the stealing of a car right in front of her and driving away at a speed of almost 100 mph. However, until now, Pinkston had not disclosed the fact that he did not even possess a driver’s license at the time of the stunt. Shockingly, he was only in possession of a learner’s permit.

To add to the comedic irony, the producer had to hide in the back seat of the vehicle disguised as the car thief as Pinkston drove away from Williams. He shared,“..so the producer had to lay in the back of this vehicle that I stole because I couldn’t drive without an adult. So I drive away from Serena Williams she sees me drive off that’s the gag. She is like oh this kid stole a car. I drive around the corner so the producer can hop in the driver’s seat and take us to location B where this whole thing is going to end. Serena Williams is like a superwoman, she starts chasing me..”

He further added,”.. like three blocks later at a light, she pulls up next to us. And I’m sitting now in the driver’s seat with a strange man. And so Ashton’s in my ear like f**k f**k. Because they’re in like a Chase car that has like all the setup, yeah and so he’s talking to me he’s like make something up, make something up. So I’m like uh uh this is my special friend and we’re going away together we’ve been meeting on weekends. And he said he was gonna take me away and all this stuff right? She’s like oh my God and the red light and she’s like Baby don’t do it she’s like oh no.

Reflecting on the experience, Pinkston couldn’t help but admire Williams’ superhuman presence both on and off the tennis court.
