The already close-knit bond went a step further with the birth of Serena’s daughter Olympia. Since Olympia’s birth, Venus has shared a special bond with her now 4-year-old niece. An example of the same was seen yesterday.
Venus Williams’s special message for Serena and Olympia
Serena is unquestionably one of the most active athletes on social media. The 40-year-old religiously puts up posts and stories on her social media handles. Her posts are a mix of her personal as well as professional life. However, what takes a major cut are the updates featuring her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. And yesterday was no different.
On May 5th, Serena took to her Instagram handle, putting up a post. The post featured the mother-daughter duo of Serena and Olympia. In the post, the two were seen dancing together on British singer Ed Sheeran’s superhit track ‘Perfect’. Serena captioned the video “My forever bestie Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.”

The video in no time gained mileage with fans and admirers showering blessings and good wishes for Serena and Olympia. However, amongst the many messages, one message that stood out was from Venus Williams. Going all praise for her sister and niece, the 41-year-old wrote, “She got your legs.”
The much-awaited comeback of Venus and Serena Williams
Serena Williams and Venus Williams have been out of the tour since 2021. While Serena last played at the 2021 Wimbledon, Venus last appeared at the 2021 Chicago Open. Following injuries, the two have been out ever since then.
