Venus Williams has turned heads yet again. The 42-year-old tennis legend clinched her first victory in almost 2 years at Auckland Classic on Monday. She was up against American player Katie Volynets who is literally half her age. Venus’ victory is definitely a great boost to her encouragement before the Australian Open. Her fans have not been able to keep calm after this victory. The surge in Twitter reactions and comments to her beating Katie is not just owing to her long career.

Venus Williams is making a wildcard entry later this month at the Australian Open. This year will be her 22nd season in the tournament after her debut in 1998. Venus has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fans in Australia. She believes that it will be great to play for them again this year.
