Venus Williams is well known for red-carpet appearances. The tennis legend is a regular attendee of red-carpets, where she dazzles in her ever-trendy looks. Adding to her ever-charming red-carpet look was the 2022 Met Gala. Recently, Venus Williams attended the 2022 Met Gala. For which, the 41-year-old opted for a black tuxedo along with a corset top by designer Gabriela Hearst. She completed her look with black sunglasses.
Yesterday, the 4th of April, Venus took to her Instagram to put up a post. In the post, Venus gave a glimpse of her Met Gala look. Posting some red-carpet photos, Venus captioned the post, “2022 is Met Gala.”

The player, in no time, started receiving love and appreciation from her fans and the whole of the tennis community. However, she had a big moment when Reddit co-founder and Serena Williams’ husband, gave a shout-out to her. Ohanian, who is a highly active social media user himself, posts regular stories on Instagram. The stories usually revolve around her work, or her daughter Olympia. However, yesterday it was different.
Minutes after Venus’s post, Ohanian took to his Instagram, putting up a story. The story was a repost of his sister-in-law, Venus Williams Instagram post. He captioned the story, “Venus Williams serving looks as the kids say.”
The much-awaited comeback of Venus Williams

Venus Williams has been out of the tour for 8 months now. She last played at the 2021 Chicago Open, suffering a first-round exit. As per the player, she suffered a leg injury which further forced her to withdraw from the 2021 US Open. The 7-time Grand Slam champion has been missing from the court ever since then.
While many fans have been speculating about her return for a long time, the player has not participated in any tournament since the start of the year. However, recently, Venus dropped a major hint of a comeback at this year’s Wimbledon. During one of her Instagram Q&A sessions with her fans, she was asked whether she’ll be making a comeback at this year’s Wimbledon. To which, the 5-time champion replied, “I never like to miss Wimbledon”. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
