The moment was made even more challenging because Serena, exhausted from childbirth, was passed out and unable to assist. He turned to a nurse for help and instruction: “Serena was passed out and I asked the nurse, I was like, ‘Hey, you’re gonna have to show me how to do this.'” He didn’t stop there but continued to take on diaper duty for long. “It was a source of pride that I didn’t just do her first, but did a whole hell of a lot of them,” he said with a smile.
