Venus and Serena Williams are two of the greatest players of all-time in the history of the sport. Besides being phenomenal in the singles category, there is nothing in tennis that the two have not accomplished while playing doubles. Even in their early forties, they still dominate the sport and are a source of inspiration to thousands of youngsters.
Apart from being incredible tennis players, Venus and Serena Williams are successful entrepreneurs as well. Interestingly, the two take care of their businesses by themselves in a hands-on manner and continue to excel even there.

Even though Venus is the elder sister, she is far behind Serena when one compares the net worth of both of them. As of now, Venus’s estimated net worth is $95 million. Apart from her on-court earnings of $42 million so far, the 7-time Grand slam champion is the owner of an athletic wear line, ‘EleVen’, and a diet company, ‘Happy Vikings’.
Because of her immense interest in interior designing, she also runs an interior designing firm, ‘V Starr’. Intriguingly, it is the same company that built Serena’s new home.

As far as Serena is concerned, her current net worth stands at $210 million and thus, puts her way ahead of her sister. Surprisingly, the 23-time Grand Slam winner has earned around $94 million on the court, which is almost twice as any other female athlete.
Besides this, Serena is an investor and runs a venture capital firm called ‘Serena Ventures’. As of now, the firm has invested in more than 30 small businesses. She also has a fashion company, ‘S by Serena’, and continues to be the face of many big brands and companies including Nike, Wilson, Lincoln Motor Company, and others.

Serena v Venus: Head-to-head battle
One has often witnessed Serena and Venus battling on the court against each other. Head-to-head, the two have crossed each other’s path 30 times. Intriguingly, it is Serena again who leads this battle at 18-12.

The two have faced each other in nine Grand Slam finals. Here too, Serena leads the stats with the win-loss ratio of 7-2. The two played five back-to-back Grand Slam finals in 2002-03 and interestingly, Serena won all five of them.
