That they twin in the same wear is no secret to the tennis world, but Serena Williams and her three-year-old munchkin Alexis Olympia have now taken their fashion game up a notch.
The adorable mother-daughter pair is racing up the fashion charts in a new photoshoot that has them posing in the same beachwear.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has shared a clip of the photoshoot on her Instagram page where she is seen twinning with her daughter in a purple swimsuit.
What’s more, the outfits have their fun nicknames on them – ‘The Shady One’ for Serena and ‘Wild Child’ for her little one.
The clip shows Olympia getting some attention from a make-up artist as her mother holds her hand. She then poses, pouts, and flashes a thumbs up with a dazzling smile along with her mother as the camera rolls. Serena has tagged her post with a message that simply says, “Pick your player!”
The post has already fetched a huge number of ‘likes’ and ‘comments’, including from the elder Williams sister.

Venus, who is still going strong on the Tour at 40, left a comment on her younger sibling’s post, saying, “The wild one!!!” While it’s hard to deduce who she described as “The Wild One”, one would assume that she had her niece in mind.

On the career front, Serena will resume her quest for a 24th Grand Slam title at the upcoming French Open after seeing another promising Major campaign go up in smoke at Melbourne Park.
Coming into this year’s Australian Open in the hope of ending her three-year trophy drought in Majors and equaling Margaret Court’s record career haul of 24 titles, the 39-year-old seemed poised for a glorious finish till she ran into Naomi Osaka in the semifinals.
