Arguably the greatest female tennis player of all time, Serena Williams has not been on the tennis court since the first round of Wimbledon, 2021. Since then, the 23-time Grand Slam winner has been enjoying her time off the court while trying to recover from injury.

Serena’s off-time included many fashion works and holidays with family and more. According to recent news, she will now team up with Prince Harry to do a BetterUp seminar on achieving mental fitness through ‘Inner work’.

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry’s better half Meghan Markle, has been friends with Serena Williams for a very long time now. Now Harry also became really close with Serena and her husband, Alexis Ohanian. Alexis reportedly told Prince Harry to join with BetterUp, which is a firm for professional coaching and mental health.

Harry now became the Chief Impact Officer of BetterUp and will do a seminar on “cultivating the power of mental fitness through a bold commitment to Inner Work.”

The seminar will take place on 3rd February, as Serena and the CEO of BetterUp, Alexi Robichaux, will also join the seminar. Prince Harry and Serena will talk about their public image and dealing with mental health.

Notably, Prince Harry and Serena Williams have been public figures for a very long time and they have previously faced lots of criticism and public backlash. So, it seems like they are the right people to talk about the subject matter.

When will Serena come back to the tennis court?

After winning her 23rd Grand Slam title in the 2017 Australian Open, Serena hasn’t had much luck in grabbing her 24th. She came agonizingly close four times when she reached the Wimbledon and US Open finals, two times each. Unfortunately, she lost all those finals, as the American is still chasing Margaret Court’s record 24 Grand Slam titles.

Last year she suffered a hamstring injury in the first round of Wimbledon, which forced her to withdraw from the match. Since then, she missed US Open 2021, and this year’s Australian Open. There’s no current timeline for her possible return, but she will now hope to make a strong comeback at the French Open in May. If she stays fully fit, she will have a great chance to reach her goal in May.
