Just about nobody has painted a career as sensational as the queen Serena Williams. Yet, her quest for Grand Slam seems so close, yet so far. At Wimbledon 2021, many were expecting and hoping that the 7-time winner adds another title to her name. However, her quest to equal Margaret Court’s record was cut short yet again. Williams’ last Slam came way back in 2017.
Injury ends Serena Williams’ Wimbledon dream
Serena was eliminated in Round-1 of Wimbledon, after suffering a horrid injury against Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus. In the first set, Serena was looking good, before slipping on court and injuring her right leg in the process.
