A lot can change in two weeks. A tennis player can go from not having won a Grand Slam to entering the elusive list of players who have. Or, it could be something as common as the motivation to go to the gym. Because two weeks ago, Serena Williams wrote, “Don’t come in-between me and my gym time.” Well, as it so happens, there is one thing that can come between Serena and her gym time, And that’s precisely what she needed help deciding on.

After following a stringent routine to ensure her consistent domination in the WTA circuit, Serena Williams is just as dedicated to fitness even after evolving away from professional tennis. That said, she has a lot more on her plate these days, all of which leave her quite exhausted – whether it be going to the gym, spending time with her husband and daughters, or even her multiple business ventures. And who can forget her dedication to fashion, too? Well, with all this pent-up exhaustion, she turned to her fans for help.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion shared a story on Instagram with her fans, asking them to choose either a yes or a no. Relaxing on her bed, Williams posed the question, “Ok, so I need a little help, should I take a quick nap, or should I go to the gym?” Knowing the fitness aficionado and a mother of two, anyone would have gone for “take a quick nap.” But the Wyn Beauty founder didn’t want her fans to make an uninformed decision about her based on their assumption.

Explaining why she would want to nap, she said, “I went to bed at 4:00 am and I set my alarm at 6:50 am, so about 3 hours of sleep.” It’s tough to get through the day with just 3 hours of sleep in the tank. Good sleep translates into good energy, and nobody knows it more than the tennis legend. However, Williams would not rest until her goals were accomplished. She further explained the other side. She added, “Why I would go to the gym, the goal I’m trying to reach…”

Poll of the day

Do you think Serena Williams should rely on her fans for daily routine decisions?

Yes it’s fun

No, she should decide

Sometimes

Only for big events

It’s a bit cliffhanger. Nobody knows her goal. Instead of sharing it with her fans. Williams chose to treat them with a cheeky smile, leaving fans in a lurch that left everyone wondering what she was aiming for. Though Andy Roddick might know, as he was quick to reveal one of their shenanigans in a recent podcast. Or maybe her husband, Alexis Ohanian, as he knows the cure to his exhaustion.

Will Alexis Ohanian’s exhaustion remedy come to Serena Williams’ rescue as she prepares for Vogue?

Ohanian recently opened up about his remedy for exhaustion and work troubles. The father of two wouldn’t want to be anywhere in the world other than being near his family. However, work calls. And after a work trip, this adorable gesture with his daughters cures him of everything. He said, that first hug from my girls after a work trip.” However, this may or may not work for Serena, as after an eventful day, she has to get ready for the upcoming Vogue World 2024.

Williams is not new to the fashion world. The 23-time Grand Slam champion has been a regular at Met Gala and, of course, Vogue. This time is no different, as she is invited as a special guest along with her sister Venus Williams and other big names such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

Maybe this is the goal she was aiming for. Only Serena Williams can confirm. But whatever it is, she is certain to achieve it as she has done many times, and Ohanian has her back throughout!
