Serena Williams is the synonym of determination and resilience. Be it her motherhood journey to her fitness goal, Williams has nailed it all. This WTA legend’s incredible bodily transformation took center stage, inspiring many, including Khloe Kardashian. Amused by Williams’ post-partum revelations and her incredible journey, this reality star dropped a powerful comment highlighting why Serena Williams is truly the GOAT!
In January, Williams talked about her post-partum body issues as she couldn’t fit into a Valentino skirt that used to be a perfect fit. Sharing a clip of her failed attempts to wear that skirt, she remembered how the skirt used to fit her perfectly but can’t now. Her goal was to fit into the skit, “And so a month behind.. Yeah ways to go… Houston, we got a Problem….bi**h we have a problem… okay.. I feel like if i go to the gym I will be able to fit it again in a month..”
However, the situation is different now. Williams shared a few pictures on her official Instagram profile where she wore denim pants and a jacket with a beige tank top inside. A mother of two, Williams looked fit, healthy, and slimmer than before. “100% real … forehead to toe … lol,” she wrote as the caption.

This incident not only brought a funny moment to Williams fans, but they also applauded the former tennis star’s courage to speak about the challenges of motherhood. Williams shared another reel in May, struggling to wear the same skirt.
“Ok everyone, I have been working my 🍑 off! Let’s see what happens with my jean skirt. Can I fit it yet? Check it out!“ she said while starting the video. However, Williams still struggled in the video to fit into the skirt. While she tried, she struggled a lot to fit into it, “I can’t say I’m happy about this.” While her disappointment was evident, she declared, “But I’m not going to stop eating all the snacks.”

Serena Williams talks about her love for fitness
Despite retiring from tennis, Williams has never taken her fitness lightly. As per her, she was much more active as a mom than she was when she used to play tennis. While she would be busy with the demands of the sport, as a mother, “I’m gone all day,“ she said. Willims also revealed her intense training during her professional days, which made her “ready for anything“ at that moment.

She also spoke about liking many forms of workouts. “I do HIIT workouts (high-intensity interval training), a little stretching, a little strength training, but mostly cardio training, I do the cardio exercises on Tonal, which is really helpful for me just to get my body back and used to calisthenics. I don’t necessarily want a trainer in my room or in the gym with me, so just having the Tonal trainers is a relief. It’s just something different from what I’ve been doing for the past 20-plus years, and it’s refreshing,“ she said to Vogue in an interview in 2022.
Williams’ weight loss journey is a reminder that motherhood comes with challenges, especially with women’s physicality. While it is hard to get back to the old shape, Williams proved that it takes a little determination and self-love to achieve it.
