NBA legend Kobe Bryant was not just a role model for many youngsters but an inspiration to many of the athletes as well. His energy, level of determination, and dedication are still unparalleled. It is because of this reason that even tennis legends like Serena Williams are big fans of the late great.
Recently, Bryant’s elder daughter, Natalia Bryant, graduated from high school. She is 18-years-old and graduated from Sage High School in California. Interestingly, her mother, Vanessa Bryant, recorded the whole ceremony and posted it on her Instagram.

Serena Williams also extended her wishes to the Bryant family and gifted them a bouquet on the special occasion. The American legend even wrote a beautiful note which Vanessa shared on her Instagram story.

“Congrats to you and your family. You always show such a courage. I admire you always,” wrote Serena in the message.
Kobe Bryant and Serena Williams were great friends. It is because of this reason that their families also share a great bond to this date.
Serena Williams in the 2021 season so far
Overall, Serena Williams has had quite a topsy-turvy season so far. She began it on a really high note as she reached the semis of the Australian Open 2021. Even though Naomi Osaka thrashed her in straight sets there, Serena played really well in Melbourne.

She took a break from tennis after that and made a comeback at the Italian Open 2021. Fans raised many questions over her fitness when she lost two out of the three matches on clay before the French Open 2021. However, the 23-time Grand Slam champion bounced back and reached the pre-quarters of Roland Garros 2021.
It was going well until she, unfortunately, lost to Elena Rybakina in straight sets there.

Serena Williams is 39 right now and fans suspect that it was probably her last French Open. It is definitely tough for her to compete with the players who are almost half of her age. However, she is not giving up and still has that tremendous power in her forehand. Will she be able to win her 24th Grand Slam title this year?
