In 2012, she revealed that she loves to sing tracks from Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ when she takes to the mic. Voicing out her admiration for the renowned English singer-songwriter, Serena Williams said, “I call it the Adele syndrome, not that I have an Adele voice. My voice is so terrible.” Her obsession with the singer pushes her to replicate her voice whenever she tries to sing. Talking about replicating, in 2014 she performed ‘Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend’ at the Arena in New York.

During that program, the retired WTA star revealed, “I do like 80s, 90s rock because it’s good for my voice. The thing about karaoke is picking a song that works for your voice, that way if you sing like a cat — like I do — you can still sound pretty good.” Then again, even in the car she doesn’t miss a chance to showcase her singing skills. While traveling in a car to attend a Gucci event in 2021 with her husband Alexis Ohanian, Serena was spotted singing ‘Hello’ (again, by Adele). Fans have enjoyed seeing her holding the racquet in her hand for 27 years, now they seem to be having the same excitement seeing her holding the mic in her hand.
