The American rapper broke his Yeezy deal with the brand GAP after being together for two years. Kanye West explained his reasons for the falling apart of the deal.

Serena Williams‘ husband Alexis Ohanian took to his Instagram story to share the interview with Kanye West. He stated, “Iconic interview” on his story as well as on the post. The American Wrapper has broken his two-year-long partnership with GAP after the two parties decided that they did not have a common vision. Kanye West talked about his vision of making the hoodies available to the public for $20. He also accused GAP of copying his designs and excluding him from meetings.

The rapper was also disappointed that the retailing brand did not open standalone showrooms for his brand, Yeezy. He will now focus on developing the stores for his own brand using his vision.
The deal between the two partners was for 10 years. Despite the long-term contract, both parties have now decided to go their separate ways after a conflict of interest.
