In his podcast Business Dad Ohanaian tells businessman Bobby Kim about how he treats his kids according to this method. “I generally think about gentle-ish parenting the way I like to parent. I do generally like the idea of talking to my kids instead of talking down to them”- he said.

Mentioning how his fatherhood is one of the “strongest parts” of his identity, this Reddit co-founder said that this role has brought a “shift in things.” Further delving into how this helped in his “every decision”, Ohanian said that he wants to be a father who only guides his daughters toward their dreams but wishes to inspire them with his work.

He further spoke about how fatherhood has its “ebb and flow” and his learnings as a father are also helping him evolve as a human.”The relationship has layers to it, which has been really fun. But for a six-year-old, I’m just starting to unpeel the human and really learn all the different feelings and desires and hopes and fears. And it’s awesome”- said Ohanian.
