It’s the month of Halloween and Serena Williams’ daughter, Olympia, is already gearing up for it. She had a surprise gift for her father Alexis Ohanian, ahead of the Halloween season. The celebration, which takes place on the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day, is observed on 31st October.

Earlier this month, Serena called an end to her illustrious career after her third-round exit at the US Open. Subsequently, she bid an emotional adieu to tennis in front of her home fans. With age not by her side, the American legend wishes to shift the focus to her business ventures and spend quality time with her family. Recently, her daughter showed off her artistic skills.

Serena Williams’ daughter has a surprise gift for her father

The Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, took to Twitter to showcase the gift that he received from Olympia. It was the Jack-o’-lantern that Olympia had drawn for him. Further, sharing its picture, Ohanian said, “Jr drew me this jack-o’-lantern.”

Jack-o’-lantern is a root vegetable lantern that is commonly associated with the Halloween holiday. Many believe that it now symbolizes a welcoming sense of community despite its fearsome look.

Further, Serena recently attended a concert by the English rock band Bush. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian, accompanied her to the event. The Reddit co-founder also shared some glimpses of the event on his official Instagram handle.

Serena also released a book on the popular doll ‘Qai Qai’ recently. She named the book ‘The Adventures of Qai Qai’ and it became a massive hit instantly.

Serena’s tribute to her sister Venus

During the farewell speech after her retirement from tennis, the 23-time Grand Slam champion had the perfect tribute for her elder sister. Serena said, “I wouldn’t be Serena if there wasn’t Venus, so thank you, Venus. She’s the only reason that Serena Williams ever existed.”
