I didn’t get that until I had a wife and a baby. When that switch flipped, I had to choose my priorities in life differently.”

Serena Williams loses to Emma Raducanu

Serena lost her second match in a row after revealing her retirement plans. The 40-year-old, had earlier revealed her plans to give up tennis after the ongoing season. Playing in the Cincinnati Masters, the former world number 1 had a huge task up against the US Open defending champion, Emma Raducanu. However, the 19-year-old Briton, was too good for the 23-time Grand Slam champion.

After taking the first set convincingly, the 19-year-old was ruthless in the second set and handed a bagel to the American.
