Alexis Ohanian is the definition of a family man. While the world knows him as the co-founder of Reddit and Serena Williams’ biggest cheerleader, his devotion to his loved ones is just as intense. Time and again, Ohanian has shown that when it comes to his family, he doesn’t just wear his heart on his sleeve—he wears it proudly. This time, though, it wasn’t his adorable moments with daughters Olympia and Adira or his loving tributes to Serena that caught attention. Instead, it was his fierce response to a hater who made a snarky comment in a discussion involving his father, Chris Ohanian.
The 41-year-old took to his X account to share a video thanking his team members for the partnership and support he receives from them in his venture, Seven Seven Six. Captioning the post, he also thanked his dad and wrote, “My dad even made a cameo in the 776 AGM outro….” His father’s voice can be heard in the later half of the video which details the Annual General Meeting that Ohanian would be conducting. However, what followed was quite surprising.
Responding to the post, a user made a snarky comment and wrote, “You don’t have the courage to name these LP’s but good to see you exploiting your Dad instead of your kids for a change.” This did not go well with the Reddit co-founder who was quick to slam the criticism in style. Replying to the comment, Ohanian shared a GIF that read, “Stop it. Get some help.” Remember, Ohanian shares a close bond with his father. The father-son duo also engaged in an adorable moment for a video of Ohanian’s venture.

Recently, Alexis Ohanian shared a video clip on his social media accounts with the caption, “Our 776 content team pitched me on a unique cold open for our AGM this year and I think it turned out pretty great. Thanks for the fatherly advice, Dad! I’ll share your feedback with @theestallion — but glad you still liked @athlos @scoreplay @stoke_space @astroforge + @InterluneSpace.” In the visual, Ohanian was spotted calling his father and seeking some advice.
Ohanian said, “Well, so I got to give this presentation for our AGM where I basically tell all of our LPs all the things we did this year and I don’t really know how to get it all in. Do you have any advice for me? Some sage fatherly advice?” In response to this, his father advised him to slow down while speaking. Soon, Alexis highlighted things that took place this year and asked his father if he loved Athlos NYC. Beaming with pride, Chris responded, “OMG! Everything just worked so well. People were going nuts.” However, he highlighted one aspect which he failed to understand. “But I’ve never dealt with volume that loud. I don’t know if that’s a thing. That performance by Megan Thee Stallion, the bass, it was too loud!”

Now, as Ohanian mentioned his father in yet another post, it was criticized by the user to which Ohanian responded in style. However, it was not the first time when the business mogul has shut criticism against his family, as he shared a similar take on people advising him to spend less time with his daughters.
When Alexis Ohanian slammed criticism involving his daughters
Alexis Ohanian’s love for his family has always captured headlines. But when it comes to his daughters, his affection knows no bounds. Despite having a busy schedule, Ohanian ensures to give adequate time to his daughters. From flipping pancakes to taking them out to their favorite places, Ohanian continues to set dad goals. However, this does not seem apt to many who believe that Ohanian can make better use of his time by engaging in business-related activities. But, when it comes to his daughters, Ohanian does not wish to accept any unwanted suggestions.

In an interview with Taylor Smith for the Offseason NFC podcast, Ohanian opened up on the criticisms he witnesses. “I have business folks I work with. I have got guys who sincerely think I am not nearly as committed as I am to success at work because they know that side of my persona,” he said. Continuing further, he highlighted his stand on being dedicated equally to parenthood and professional endeavors and shut the critics in style. “It’s so wild, because I’m like, bro I know I outwork you, I know my returns are better than you. But I think it’s cute that you have this idea that I can’t be showing up for my kids, making some pancakes, and also show up to beat your a–.”
For now, it would be interesting to see if Ohanian’s argument with the X user continues to heat up. But one thing is certain: Ohanian continues to prove that his priorities are rock solid and doesn’t back down when it comes to protecting the people he loves.
