Williams won her 23rd Grand Slam with Olympia growing in her belly. However, despite repeated attempts, Williams has been unable to find that “extra oomph” to push her daughter like her father did. However, it seems that her husband, Alexis Ohanian, might have something in store this time to push their daughter towards the ultimate glory: The Olympics!

It has been almost a decade since Ohanian met Williams. And since then, his transition to promote women’s sports began. First, it was watching his then-girlfriend win Grand Slam, supporting her as she raked a massive 23. Followed by supporting Angel City FC(soccer) as an owner, then came Golf, and now he has ticked Athletics into his list. Though Olympia accompanied the passionate father on various occasions, but tennis fans are eager to see the legend’s daughter take the court or pick a sport. And it seems that Ohanian’s recent venture, Athlos might bring the explosive energy to push Olympia on the track.

In a recent post on his X account, Ohanian shared an Olympics tag pinned at his daughter’s study table. Sharing the snippet of the same featuring the US Olympics team trials (Track and Field) sticker with Ohanian on it, with the caption, “See it, Be it @Olympia Ohanian.” Ohanian hopes that Jr. will get inspired by looking at the tag daily. However, the world would know sooner than later whether Olympia would take up sports or not. Until then deep breaths and patience!

With exposure to multiple sports at home, Olympia has a plethora of options to choose from. And 776 invitational being revealed as Athlos NYC, which would host stars like Gabby Thomas, Olympia would have the premium seat to watch track and field athletes grow. Coupled with her father’s gentle parenting ways, Olympia might surprise everyone!

Ohanian’s “talking to my kids” way of parenting to unpeel the layers as his daughters grows

Some would think that Reddit was his biggest achievement. On the emotional side, there would be some who would say that he is lucky to have Serena as his wife. The Lady Luck has pushed more into being a ‘business dad’ and supporting women’s sports. Though all of it is true, according to Ohanian, having children has been one of the biggest achievements till now. The Business Dad opened up about his parenting approach with his elder offspring, Olympia. Adira would soon follow.

He said, ““I generally think about gentle-ish parenting the way I like to parent. I do generally like the idea of talking to my kids instead of talking down to them. The relationship has layers to it, which has been really fun. But for a six-year-old, I’m just starting to unpeel the human and really learn all the different feelings and desires and hopes and fears. And it’s awesome!” The father of two daughters is living in every moment, as he enjoys the time with his beautiful family.

More than anything, Ohanian would want Olympia and Adira to be happy with whatever they choose, and the proud father would always have their back! Though choosing a sport as a career would be a cherry on the top!
