Serena Williams had her daughter in 2017 with her husband and the co-founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian. Both of them have been the ever-so-doting parents to the 4-year-old, who appears on their social media feeds quite regularly. She is also seen ‘twinning’ with her mother, making fashion statements already at her tender age.

Recently, Williams posted a picture on her Instagram, where Olympia and she are seen striking a pose, sitting back to back. Williams is wearing the black-red and pink outfit by Nike that she had worn at the Australian Open 2021.

Caroline Wozniacki, who is great friends with Williams off-court, reacted to the post with ‘heart’ and ‘heart-eyes’ emojis. Serena’s coach Patrick Mouratoglou also commented on the picture, saying it was an “Incredible pic!”

Serena teases comeback to the circuit

Recently on Twitter, Serena replied to a tweet saying “Coming!!!!” when a Twitter user asked her when she will be back. This sent Twitterati into a frenzy, as fans started to speculate whether this was indicative of Serena’s return to the circuit. The post with Olympia also had the caption “next”.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion was last seen at the Wimbledon 2021, where she retired during her first-round match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich. She left the court in tears following her injury.

Fans of the American superstar were hopeful of her return in the hard-court season at the Australian Open. But they were disappointed when Williams announced that her recovery was not quite done yet. She said that she would be out of the circuit for some more time to concentrate on rehabilitation.
