Recently, Rennae Stubbs took to X(formerly Twitter) to express her concern with the medical insurance companies in the country. Medical insurance in this country is THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! Let me repeat myself. MEDICAL INSURANCE in the USA is HORRENDOUS!!!!” said Stubbs.

She further went on to add, “You medical insurance companies are a joke! All of u.” In 2022, while speaking more on the struggles related to health issues, especially involving tennis players, Rennae Stubbs revealed that she had witnessed how athletes are hesitant to speak about their mental health troubles.

Everybody has something and often, those are things you don’t talk about or you don’t hear about. And no athlete is going to talk about the vulnerabilities because that is seen as a weakness,” Serena Williams’ former coach stated. Rennae Stubbs has seen the struggles on the face of tennis players. So she feels it’s important that everyone talks about these issues. The health of the athletes has been the topic of discussion over the last few years.

Recently, the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) also took a step forward in their commitment to welfare to provide free health care services to the players. According to this association, all tennis professionals will have free round-the-clock access to consult medical experts.

It solely aims to level the playing field in healthcare arena. That’s something beyond what is provided on-site at the tournament. Dominic Thiem recently gave a reaction to this announcement and here’s what he said.
