Holger Rune is one youngster who took the world by storm. The Danish youngster found himself climbing the ATP ladder steadily and even playing in the ATP Finals. Although he has improved heaps, there is still much left to be done. Boris Becker took up the role of helping him fill the gaps, and Rune is already showing great improvements.
In fact, the improvements in Rune make one tennis expert believe that he is a much better match for Rune than Serena Williams’ former coach, who trained the Danish star for a while.

“I think Becker can make a big difference for him. Becker was a great champion and that makes him more qualified than Lars Christensen and Patrick Mouratoglou. Mouratoglou is obviously a big name in tennis training, but Becker is a former winner Grand Slam, both as a player and coach, so he knows a thing or two about tennis.”
Becker’s on-court experience makes him a better match for a player than the former coach of Serena Williams, as per Morgado. As he talked about Becker being the better coach, Morgado explained why he would be the better guide.

Why Boris Becker is better for Rune
When giving his reason for Becker being a better match, Morgado said his motivation to return to his life after being involved in controversy is high. Additionally, he misses tennis, which can work to his benefit.
“It seems that Becker is very motivated because he went through a difficult period in his life and it seems that he really missed tennis. And judging by his first impressions, it seems that he had a positive influence on Rune, because I think that Rune’s body language he has improved and I think that Becker will be able to advise him to relax and not stress so much in moments when he is struggling to get things done.”
