Serena Williams is undoubtedly one of the greatest players of all time. The former World No. 1 has broken almost every record in the sport. While she enjoys a magnificent aura today, a major contributor to her career has been her father, Richard Williams.

Despite not being the coach of Serena anymore, the father-daughter duo continue to share a strong bond between them. Being a doting daughter, Serena Williams recently bought a house that has significant emotional value for her father in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Richard Williams’ struggles

While Richard Williams tasted major success in making Serena and Venus two of the greatest tennis players, he failed to replicate the same success in his personal life. Suffering from dementia and ‘irreparable brain damage’, Richard underwent an ugly divorce with his last wife, Lakeisha Graham.

Lakeisha Graham has been accused of faking Richard’s signature to transfer his Palm Beach Gardens property to her name. As per the latest update, Richard signed a quitclaim deed for $10 to transfer the property to his ex-wife’s. Helping her father in these tough times, Serena has made sure to give her father the best comfort possible.

Serena Williams shifts her father to a new house

Recently, a set of court documents revealed that Richard was currently living in a new house in the same area.

As per the documents, the property is owned by Serena. Going by the reports, the legendary player bought the one-story property in 2015. Diving further, the property, reportedly bought at $815,000, is a 4,160 square feet full floor apartment. The sprawling apartment consists of 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Apartment from all the comfort and luxury, Serena has also made sure that her father is not kept away from his emotional memories. The apartment is 16 miles away from his old house and tennis courts where he taught the sport to his daughters.
