Ohanian engaged in an interaction at the grand opening of Athlos NYC on Thursday. He was accompanied by his daughter Olympia, who was spotted with her father even during the formal interview sessions. What caught the attention of fans and tennis enthusiasts were the gestures that followed from the seven-year-old, despite the serious mood of the interview.

The ‘business dad’ talked about the importance of the event for women athletes and the goals he has through the tournament. Despite the seriousness of the discussion, Olympia was playful, demonstrating some viral TikTok dance moves on camera. She was seen pumping her hands in the air in different directions as she smiled innocently. Ohanian was quick to notice and said, “Olympia knows this (the importance of the event) firsthand.”

For the unversed, the event is a novel, women-only track and field event through which Ohanian aims to bring positive change in the lives of female athletes. He announced the initiative in April this year and highlighted that his venture, Seven Seven Six, would invest directly in the event. Olympia’s playful act, meanwhile, shifted the focus of the discussion towards her.

Ohanian was asked during the interview about Olympia’s personality outside of what fans see on social media. Replying to this, the business mogul said, “Olympia is easily the most amazing little human I have met and she’s a great big sister.” This, however, is not the first time that the father-daughter duo has shared such cheeky and adorable gestures.

Ohanian explained in the video that the next step was to spray some apple juice on the dish he was cooking. But when he asked Olympia to do the task, he spotted her drinking the apple juice from the spray bottle. He quickly intervened and stopped Olympia’s mischievous act, saying, “Now we are going to come out here to spray this… Are you drinking the Apple juice? Olympia, No.”
